Fifth Annual Trunk or Treat Slated For Monday

Fire reported on South Avenue

Bradford City Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 237 South Ave at 5:38 p.m. Bradford City Police, arriving on scene, reported it was the electrical oven in the kitchen that was on fire, not the structure. Engine 1 and Tower 1 responded to the call.

Structure fire in Keating Township

At 11:04 p.m., Smethport Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on Route 6, 1 1/2 miles west of the McKean County Jail on Route 6. At 11:07 p.m., one crew from Port Allegany Volunteer Fire Department was requested to transfer to Smethport’s station for standby. Possible vehicle fire reported in Lafayette Twp.

At 12:20 a.m., Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a location on Route 219, two miles north of the Route 59 intersection, for a possible vehicle fire in the southbound lane. Heavy smoke was reported, although no flames were showing.
