Small Fire at Local Factory

At 3:55 pm, fire personnel were called out for a fire at a local factory. Bradford City FD was dispatched to Werzalit, at 40 Holley Ave., for a small fire inside the building. Fire crews reported that they were performing minor mop-up work.

Possible Oil Spill Reported

At 8:02 pm, a possible oil spill was reported. The oil spill was said to be in the creek, under the East Smethport bridge. Smethport FD was dispatched to the scene to investigate. At 8:05 pm, all Smethport FD units were to hold in their positions by the orders of the chief.
