Just before midnight Friday, Coudersport troopers stopped Christopher David Haight, 24, of 17 Sherman Street in Bradford for a traffic violation.Haight was stopped on Route 6, 2/10 of a mile west of Reed Run Road in Roulette Township. At 2:09 A.M. a motor vehicle accident was called in at the top of Rew Hill. Initial reports indicate that only 1 vehicle was involved and 1 occupant was standing outside of the vehicle. The Rew fire department, Medic 16, and Ambulance 30 (Bradford) responded to the scene.

11 people have been arrested in a drug sweep this morning in and around Salamanca. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force says the arrests follow a year-and-a-half long investigation into drug sales in the Salamanca area involving cocaine, crack cocaine, hydrocodone and LSD.
