MVA reported at Route 219/Route 59 intersection

At 7:01 p.m., Lafayette Township Volunteer Fire Department and Bradford City Ambulance were dispatched to the intersection of Route 219 and Route 59 for a motor vehicle accident involving a flatbed tractor trailer and a pickup truck. There was entrapment. At least two injuries were reported. Stat Medivac was put on standby.

Possible fire at Players Downtown

At 11:23 p.m., Bradford City Police were dispatched to Players for a possible fight inside the building. While en route, dispatchers reported additional calls about a fire in the building. Upon arrival, City Police officers reported smoke showing. At 11:24 p.m., Bradford City Fire Department was dispatched for a possible structure fire.

Fire in Foster Township

At 3:54 pm a fire was reported near Bradford. Rew, Bradford City, Otto Township, Derrick City, and Hilltop FD’s were all dispatched to 232 South Kendall Ave, across the street from the old Kendall Pipe Yard. The caller reported that a garage at the rear of the structure was fully involved.

Pickup Rolled Over

At 6:23 pm, a rolled over pickup was reported. The accident was reported to be about half-way up the hill on Olean Road. The caller reported that the pickup was on it’s side blocking 1 lane of traffic.  No one was near the vehicle at the time of the call. Update

Hit and Run Reported

At 1:45 pm, a hit and run was reported in the city of Bradford. A caller at 45 Forman Street reported that the last time she saw her car was around 11 pm last night, and when she went out today, her car was damaged. Bradford City Police responded to the residence.

Trucker Reports Possible Break-in Attempt

At around 1:10 pm, Bradford City Police were dispatched for a break-in attempt. A long haul trucker on Rockland Ave. reported that the last two times that he had been home that there had been evidence of a break-in attempt.

At 12:22 pm an MVA was reported in Bradford Township. The accident occurred on West Washington Street near Marilla Reservoir. Multiple patients were reported to possibly be entrapped. Bradford Township FD and Bradford City Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Truck takes out rail crossing barrier

At 5:55 pm, a caller reported to the 911 center that a tractor trailer took out the train crossing barrier in Foster Township. The incident occurred at the Bolivar Drive crossing. The caller stated that the wooden arms were taken out by a Sam’s Club truck that fled the scene heading northbound on route 219.
