Fisherman Thought to be Lost-Found in Cattaraugus County
At around 10:30 pm, McKean County 911 relayed a call to Cattaraugus County Police personnel.
A Bradford Township resident was concerned when a man did not return home from fishing. The caller stated that the man had actually tipped his boat over the day before when trying to get out of the Allegheny River, off of 9 Mile Road.
Cattaraugus County Police searched all of the boat launches in the area and finally found the man. The man’s truck was stuck in the mud, partially in the water, directly under the Route 219 bridge between I-86, and 9 Mile Road. The officer that found the individual requested that a tow truck be sent to assist the man.
