A Mill Street resident was suffering from numbness and paralysis as a result of a previous neck injury.
The medical chopper was called to transport the man to an out of area hospital.
The chopper was expected to land at the Port Allegany High School football field parking lot where a landing zone was being set up by the Port Allegany Fire Department.
