MVA in on East Main Street
At 1:13 pm, an MVA was reported on East Main Street.
The accident occurred in the area of Hamlin Bank.
2 cars were involved, and no injuries were reported. 1 car was off of the roadway, and one car was still in the road.
Foster Township PD and Derrick City FD were called to the scene.
Further information revealed that this was a rear end collision near Russell Blvd., and that the accident was actually in the City of Bradford. Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department still handled the traffic control, but Bradford City PD was sent to the scene instead of Foster Township PD.
There is no Foster Township Fire Dept. Derrick City Fire Dept is the Fire Dept that covers that area. Besides it was in the City of Bradford. The Volunteers took care of it though.
Thank you for pointing out the typo so that I could fix it. It should have read Foster Township PD. I did see that the Bradford City Police ended up heading that way to handle it. I left for a while right after that was called out, so now that I’m back, I’ll get it updated.
