Once again, Limestone shows what a “GREAT” fire department they have. Way to go idiots.
Hope everyone is safe and has a fast recovery.
I wouldn’t speak bad about any fire department. One day you may need them and and find yourself in a bad situation. I think every department does the best they can.
Its’s people like you who dont understand the dedication and time it takes to be a member of a fire department and serve your community. I suggest you keep your disrespectful comments to yourself if you have something negative say about them. You never know when your going to be in a bad situation, and those “idiots” are there to help!
Seriously… it was 2 30am. And they’re a VOLUNTEER department.
Idiot.
They shulda called BTVFD=]
The people I’m referring to have a known reputation for being slackers when it comes to the LVFD.
The ones who keep that station a float were more than likely out of town enjoying thier holiday weekend as they should be.
I do respect firefighters and everything they do for our community. I don’t respect the ones who claim to be “basement savers” and are in it for free use of the firehall or the water truck to wash thier personal vehicles.
I believe the driver was Taylor Brinker. A good friend of mine talked to him and he needs some prayers right now.
I can respect that statement, and appreciate you clearing it up. And i agree!
That is what happens when you drive 95 down Seaward Avenue DRUNK! What was a 17 year old doing driving at that time of night… oops morning? What does this say about the parents? I wish this kid luck I hope he fairs well through all of this and learns his lesson and turns his life around.
very ignorant to use a senseless accident to bash the people that were there to help y all need to grow up a 17 yr old boys life hangs thats who needs the prayers and as for his parents they are good people and have already laid one child to rest please be more respectful!!
Are the Foster Township Police and New York State Police going to conduct a joint investigation and make some arrests, he was coming from a graduation party is my understanding.
I know who all the boys are and stuff talking stuff bout them..actually im sitting with one right now and i know what really hapened
Just for your information, I was at the scene of that accident and Limestone Fire Department was present at the landing zone with an engine and a very strong showing of volunteer firemen. As a member of the Derrick City Fire Department we frequently work with Limestone Fire Department and they always show up in strong numbers, with trained personel and are a great bunch of guys to work with.
The Limestone FD showed up to set up the landing zone. I published the part that I did because they weren’t there when I went back to bed. All of our fire departments do a great job, and I feel safe knowing that if something happens to me or my family, or my house, that these men and women are here fighting for my life, or my loved ones lives.
I’m turning off the comments to this story now. Any questions, complaints, or bad mouthing fire departments can go directly through me at tez@bradfordpa.info, or through the contact tab on the “contact” part of the menu on the right top of the sidebar.
